The Four Corners Regional Commission was established in 1966 by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce under Title V of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965. The Commission was a federal-state partnership designated to foster economic growth in a 92-county region composed of parts of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah.
